A family farm in Beltinci, Prekmurje. We started in 1928 with seven cows and two fields. Today there are five of us · Janez (4th generation), his wife Marija, son Tomaž (returned from Maribor after studying dietetics) and daughter Eva (studying agronomy at the Biotechnical Faculty in Ljubljana).
38 LSU of the Brown breed, 62 ha of land (38 permanent meadows, 18 maize for silage, 6 alfalfa). Lely Astronaut robotic milking since 2019. PRO-CERT organic certificate held since 2008 · the first in Beltinci and one of the first in Pomurje.
Our own cheese dairy since 2014 · today we make six kinds of cheese, two yoghurts and organic raw butter. We sell on the farm (the little shop in Beltinci), in 12 stores across Slovenia and at 14 markets a month.
The farm is just the right size for us to run it with family labour plus one external worker during the season. We do not want to grow further · we want to tell the story of what we produce better.

The Bratonja cheese dairy has been our staple for 8 years now. The hard Bratonja cheese is indispensable for risotto and salad, while the young Brate is perfect for the children's snack. The prices are fair and delivery through brazde worked flawlessly.
A regular supplier for our cheese platter. Together we developed a set of three cheeses for our guests · consistent quality, professional packaging, delivery as punctual as clockwork.
Good young cheese, a slightly firmer rind than the industrial kind, which I like · it has character. Price for the quality is OK. The only downside: the 500 ml yoghurt in glass is too expensive for my household.
The first mowing in Log near Beltinci. The silage crop is supplemented from Mlinotest žita, and the first chemical milk analyses show 3,82 % fat and 3,21 % protein · excellent results.
After 6 months of ageing, a new variety is finally on sale · a Prekmurje-type classic, made to our grandmother's recipe. Available in our little shop and online through brazde.
Renting robotic mowing from KZ Murska Sobota · our first season. Less time spent, greater precision. We gladly recommend it to other Pomurje farmers · we are preparing a group rental for 2027.
Three golds at the regional exhibition · Trdi Bratonja (12 mo), Sir Pomurski and organic butter. We are especially pleased with the gold for the butter, as it is the only category we are winning for the very first time this year.
